These files play best with high-speed internet. If they start and stop, or play jerky, then hit Pause, wait for them to finish download, then hit Play again.
Another tip - if the videos won't play for you, try the audio file instead.
Most of these are excerpts from much longer movies.
If you're still having trouble:
1. The first thing to check is that you have Adobe Flash installed (which you can get for free right here).
2. The next tip, if they play with pauses and jerks, means that your internet connection is too slow for the data feed. In this case press Pause, wait for the video or audio clip to finish downloading, then press Play again.
3. If the videos seem to play OK, but you can't hear them, open your volume control and make sure that all of the volume sliders - Volume, Wave, SW Synth, CD Audio, PC Speaker, etc., are all the way up. This usually fixes the "volume is too low" issue.
If your volume control says "Sounds and Audio Device Properties" then click on the "Volume" tab, then "Advanced," and you'll get the screen I'm talking about.
4. Test the speed of your internet connection. Click here.
